1.1        The Clerk welcomed everyone to the meeting.

1.2        Apologies had been received from Paul Davies MS, Chair, and Hefin David MS

1.3        The Committee elected Vikki Howells MS as temporary Chair for the duration of today’s meeting in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.

1.4        The Temporary Chair noted that the Chair has begun a period of medical leave as part of his cancer treatment, and sent the Committee’s best wishes to Paul and his family. It was noted that Members would elect a temporary Chair to cover the duration of Paul’s absence at the end of the meeting.

1.5        Samuel Kurtz MS declared he was an honorary member of the British Veterinary Association.
